Elena Skardis Saviolakis,
Daughters of Penelope Executive Director

Elena has been the Executive Director for the Daughters of Penelope since 2007. Elena oversees the overall management and operations of the Daughters of Penelope as an international women’s organization.

Elena is a graduate of The American College of Greece in Athens, with a B.S. in International Business and European Affairs, and also holds an MBA with a focus in International Business from George Washington University in Washington, DC. 

During her studies in Athens, she earned a spot on one of the Professional Women’s Soccer teams in Athens and was also a performer in the Athens Olympic Games Closing Ceremony in 2004. She was one of Greek America Foundation’s Forty under Forty Honorees for the Class of 2012 and was also one of Connect Meeting Intelligence’s Forty under Forty Honorees for the Class of 2015.  

Elena is also a member of the Daughters of Penelope in Hermione Chapter No. 11 in Washington, DC.
